Society of the Mobian Empire
The society of the Mobian Empire comprises the Mobian nation and its social, religious, educational and political institutions.
Contents
Subjectship#
Only Mobian foxes may be subjects. Subjectship is uniform and equal regardless of the grounds for its acquisition. Granting and removing subjectship are matters for the Emperor. Unilateral renunciation is not permitted: the individual submits a petition requiring a separate decision.
Removal of subjectship and exile may be challenged in the Supreme Court under the Constitution. Biological and national membership of the Mobian fox community may persist after subjectship ends.
Petitions in 3246 distinguish leaving the state relationship from recognising the Emperor as national leader and Lord Protector. The particular conditions of Decree 085 apply to its named petitioners; they are not declared automatic obligations of every former subject.
Political participation of males and females#
Male subjects have voting rights, the right to participate in referendums and the forms of political participation provided by the Constitution. Females may hold auxiliary posts in state institutions; senior appointments are permitted by individual decision of the Emperor. Elizabeth Prower, Melissa Prower and Catherine Meadow illustrate the use of specific appointments.
This arrangement coexists with a general declaration of equal rights for subjects irrespective of social standing. Both features of the Constitution are preserved in descriptions.
Honorary titles#
Honorary titles, including hereditary titles, are conferred by decree for exceptional service. The Constitution states that a title alone creates no additional state privileges. Dynastic status, succession rights, official appointments and honours are considered separately.
Religion#
The state religion is Protestantism. The principal cultural denomination is Mobian Protestantism, characterised by very few rituals and a prohibition on worshipping icons as idols or totems.
The archived Constitution permits the principal Abrahamic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, with their denominations. Freedom of religion is restricted. Official culture uses religious formulas, including May God protect the Family and the Law!
The earlier specification of Presbyterianism was replaced by general Protestantism in the constitutional reform of 19/09/3241. A detailed common catechism and complete list of religious institutions have not been established.
Education and employment#
The Constitution guarantees the right to education and general access to vocational education; the state sets educational standards. It establishes freedom of employment and choice of profession, fair remuneration, rest, safety and contractual working conditions.
Names of schools, universities and medical institutions, mandatory curricula and demographic standards have not been established. Vocational guidance is documented as the practice of selecting service activities when new subjects are admitted.
Political associations#
Public associations are recognised and equal before the law. Organisations and public expression of ideologies directed against the constitutional monarchy are prohibited, as are the other anti-constitutional movements listed in the Constitution.
Party history distinguishes the Mobian Frontline Union / MFU, United Mobiania / UniMob and Royalist League / Royalemo. MFU and UniMob have histories in several versions. Royalemo as an organised party is developed primarily in the HOI4 setting. No single party cabinet operating simultaneously across every world is established.
