Miles Electric and PDAs#

Miles Electric is the ubiquitous Mobian pocket personal computer. It provides everyday digital functions and access to the internal information network. An ordinary Mobian may have little practical need for a separate computer because the PDA covers much of everyday life.

VulpiNet#

VulpiNet / VulpiNet is Mobiania's internal mesh network, protected from external interference and accessed through Miles Electric. Voice communication uses the internal network and is logged; SIM cards are not used. The ordinary external Internet exists as an additional resource; access is not described as generally prohibited by the state, and VPNs and Tor are permitted.

The Emperor has the highest level of VulpiNet authority. His account cannot be deleted or blocked by ordinary administrative means. He can override commands issued by subordinate operators.

Phantom Ruby#

The Phantom Ruby / Phantom Ruby is held by the Emperor. It is associated with illusions and effects on space and time. The Emperor learned to negotiate with the wilful artefact. He is not described as having permanently broken its will or subordinated it unconditionally.

The Emperor spent a long time learning to interact with the Ruby, including preventing unwanted spatial transitions. The particular limits of its abilities are not replaced with an unapproved universal table of powers.

Chaos Emeralds#

All seven Chaos Emeralds / Chaos Emeralds are held by the Emperor. Their association with transformation and enhancement is developed in the relevant technological and artistic canon; no arbitrary measurable power is established for each Emerald.

MP-122 Ψ: Psi#

MP-122 Ψ / Psi is an AI android created by Miles Prower. MP refers to the creator's name; 122 is the model number and Ψ the Greek designation.

Creation history: built in 3238 on a modified MP-120 φ chassis. Between the 3239-3243 versions, the body was rebuilt; the AI's programmable individuality and database were preserved. Psi has no reliable knowledge of his own functioning between those versions.

On 05/11/3243, Psi accompanies the exploration of Vulpilla Prime and guards the phantom relay. The new dark metal body has no built-in weapons. In 3246, in Foxward, the android is in reserve, stored in caves and intended for later activation and reconnaissance service. Reactivation was discussed as the next stage, but its completion has not been confirmed.

Known versions include a fox head with a screen, LED eyes, metal ears, mechanical tail segments and propeller tails. Early versions feature U-shaped eyes, a super form without side effects and a ball-lightning generator. These characteristics must be identified by body version; early combat equipment cannot automatically be attributed to the later reserve android.

His speech is businesslike and uses a vocoder; simulated emotions are possible. Functions include communication, data processing, advice and temporary administration. He addresses his creator as My Emperor, Your Imperial Majesty or Mr. Prower; the creator's designation is Creator.
