The Order of Melissa: plant, honour and history
The Empire’s highest honour is named after melissa, its national plant.
The Order is named after the national plant, not the Empress. It is Mobiania’s highest state honour, awarded for exceptional civil or military service.
Decree 068 of 28/03/3244 records five non-dynastic awards: Michael Zoyer, Oswald Foxwood, George Clifford, Adolf Foxwood and Justin Foxford. Decree 082 subsequently removed Oswald’s honour.
